We heard bluefin reports from areas south of Block, over to the Cape, where all the ‘out east’ hotspots are firing up. Most of the fish being reported are in the 45- to 55-inch range, with a few giants off the Cape. Another group made a trip to the canyons where they landed a bigeye along with some BFT and battled (and lost) a sword. Needless to say, the offshore fishing is catching fire in a hurry! Closer to shore, the fluke action has really made strides this week and stripers seem to be transitioning into summer mode across the region.
