The Women’s Club of the Forked River Tuna Club (FRTC) is pleased to announce their 31st annual Ladies’ Catch of the Day Tournament sponsored by Dr. Kathy Banks. The tournament will be held Saturday, July 13 and is open to women and Mermaids (young ladies 12 years or younger).
The entry fee for adult anglers remains at $30, which includes a ticket to the awards picnic. Mermaids fish free with a paying adult. A female angler ($30) may register up to three Mermaids; a male parent/adult may also register up to three Mermaids but his fee is $20 (no fishing) but he will receive a ticket to the Awards picnic. Adults will fish for fluke and sea bass, Mermaids fish for fluke and crabs. Portion of proceeds will benefit the FRTC Scholarship Fund and local Marine Conservation Education programs.

The Angler’s Meeting will be held Friday, July 12, with doors and kitchen opening at 6 p.m. and the registration running until 8 p.m. The Saturday fishing runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at which point the weigh-in at the Forked River Tuna Club will end.
