Fluking through the 4th might be the slogan of the week since the hot fluke bite continued in the South Shore bays once again. The bite has been better on the inside as opposed to the ocean. Striper fishing also continues to be excellent on the North Shore and now the East End of the island, evident by the good run of fish in Montauk and recent reports from the Gut and Race. Porgies are loaded along most North Shore beached as well and are beginning to come up with the sea bass in Montauk.
