We saw the first bonito of the season this week, but don’t start that albie countdown just yet, you’ll be counting for a long time! The red hot striper fishing in western Long Island Sound held up for another week; as mackerel and menhaden continue to fuel the mayhem. The biggest catch of the week was a 200-pound halibut from the Gulf of Maine. This week, it feels like anything is possible!
